Various taxicab companies in Hillsborough County, represented by Creed & Gowdy, previously asked the Supreme Court of Florida to review a lower court's decision that their taxicab medallions were not property under the Takings Clause of the Florida Constitution. On June 19, 2023, the Supreme Court of Florida accepted jurisdiction of the case and ordered briefing.  The supreme court's docket can be found here.
