After the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit issued its third decision in a class-action lawsuit against GoDaddy, Creed & Gowdy was retained to represent the lead Plaintiff-Appellee, Susan Drazen, for a possible petition for rehearing. Creed & Gowdy drafted and filed a petition for rehearing seeking limited relief, arguing that Judge Tjoflat's lead opinion was not fully joined by any other member of the panel and thus was not the opinion of the court, except for one part. The court withdrew its previous decision and issued a new unsigned opinion clarifying the holding and opinion of the court.
