As a firm, we pride ourselves on only representing plaintiffs when injuries are involved. These cases include personal injury litigation, civil rights actions, and mass tort class actions.
Our firm has an established track record of working with trial attorneys who represent individuals who have been seriously injured and estates of those killed due to the wrongdoing of others. Our personal injury work runs the gamut from automobile and truck accidents, medical malpractice, products liability, and other statutory and tort causes of action. We are often hired to defend on appeal multi-million dollar verdicts, but we also take difficult appeals of defense judgments. We also frequently provide pre-appeal trial support to trial lawyers in major cases that are likely to end up in the appellate courts.
We draw on our past litigation experience to assist plaintiffs in their class action appeals. Prior to joining the firm, some of our lawyers assisted in the defense of class actions. They have brought these experiences to the firm, which primarily represents plaintiffs in appeals involving class actions. The types of class actions we have handled include consumer litigation and environmental and toxic tort.
The firm has handled a number of civil rights appeals, including appeals involving claims of police brutality and an ADA claim on behalf of an Olympic athlete barred from future competition due to medication for his ADHD.
